We are delighted to have been instructed on this new senior Private Client role with our client, a successful offshore law firm based in the Channel Islands. The firm is currently recruiting a qualified solicitor at a senior level to join its leading Private Client & Trusts team in Guernsey.

The successful candidate can expect to handle an interesting and varied caseload, guiding clients on a wide range of non-contentious private client matters including providing clients with advice on drafting offshore trusts and foundations, preparing case analyses and supporting documentation to confidently discuss fees with clients, providing guidance on strategy and recognising the implication of changes in transactions and draft amendments to documents accurately and effectively monitoring WIP in relation to cost budgets. You can also expect to oversee the work of colleagues including associates, trainees and paralegals.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified solicitor in a common law jurisdiction with a minimum of 7 years PQE; extensive private client experience is essential to this role. Previous experience of drafting offshore trusts and foundations would also be beneficial.
