Dispute Resolution – Isle of Man (Assignment 16062)

We have been instructed on an interesting and unique opportunity with a leading international Law Firm. Our client, a prominent firm in the industry, is currently seeking a Lawyer specialising in Dispute Resolution to join their team on the Isle of Man.

In this role, the successful candidate will provide expert advice on various dispute matters, including regulatory, financial services, banking disputes, trust disputes, and employment and immigration matters. Reporting into the Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution, you will work within a dynamic team known for its expertise in commercial litigation.

The Ideal candidates will have between 1-3 years’ PQE, with prior experience in commercial litigation.

Senior Dispute Resolution – Glasgow (Assignment 15963)

Our client, a Scottish Law Firm and Estate Agents, currently has an open vacancy for a Senior Solicitor to join its busy team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will represent a range of major banking clients on various matters including debt recovery, financial disputes, security rectification, professional negligence, secured debt recoveries and tenancy disputes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting partners on key projects for lender clients.
  • Managing a significant caseload for key financial services clients.
  • Proactively running a varied litigation caseload emanating from lender clients in connection with mortgage, personal and business lending.
  • Negotiating settlements and achieving the best possible outcome for clients.
  • Representing clients in a variety of court hearings and settlement meetings.
  • Mentoring and supporting solicitors, trainee solicitors and paralegals in the department.

To be considered for this role, you should possess a minimum of 3 years’ PQE with prior experience in secured and/or unsecured debt recovery matters. Good knowledge and understanding of conveyancing practice and/or property litigation is desirable however not essential.

Junior Partner Commercial Litigation – Glasgow/Edinburgh (Assignment 11395)

We are currently working on this excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial litigation lawyer at either senior associate or junior partner level. This role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You should be an ambitious individual with the hunger and desire to progress your career to the next level within a supportive firm.

The successful candidate will be an experienced all-rounder commercial litigator and will have gained experience advising on a range of disputes including property, financial services and commercial contracts.  Ideally, you will also have the capability to handle bank/insolvency related work and an ability to lead a debt recovery team.

(English qualified) Commercial Litigation – Scotland (Assignment 14637)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this English Litigation role with our client, a dynamic international law firm. The firm currently have a need for an English qualified lawyer with at least 2 years PQE to join one of their Scottish practices (a Scots law qualification is not required as it will be mainly London work). The location of the post is flexible, and the successful candidate can be based in either the firms Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen office.

The role would be suited to candidates who have previously worked in London, in either an in-house or private practice environment, and are now looking to relocate to Scotland. This is an interesting role, and you can expect to work closely alongside the Partner on high stakes disputes with a multi-jurisdictional element.

Associate Partner/Senior Associate, Commercial & Insurance – Glasgow/Hybrid/Remote (Assignment 15623)

Our client, a leading provider of legal and claims solutions, is currently seeking a qualified solicitor to join its Commercial & Insurance team in Glasgow.  The team pride themselves on making an impact through providing excellent results through a solution focussed service.

You will be dealing with a case load of insurance litigation files including elements of commercial litigation, professional indemnity and property coverage engaging with insurer clients and their customers.

This is an interesting role open to candidates with at least 5 years’ PQE with experience in a similar role handling a full and varied caseload of insurance and commercial litigation files. If you have experience of working in the insurance industry, this would be beneficial but not essential.

You will be a dedicated individual who can inspire and supervise junior team members and be able to work to tight deadlines managing the lifecycle of a claim from start to finish. This position is full-time and is an exciting opportunity to work in an engaging and friendly environment with genuine career progression opportunities.
