Private Client Lawyer – Scotland (Assignment 12497)

Our client is currently recruiting a Private Client Solicitor to join its busy growing team. You will advise clients on all aspects of wills, trusts, executries, adults with incapacity matters and estate planning (to include inheritance and capital gains tax issues). Being STEP-qualified and/or dual Scots/English qualified will be helpful although is not essential.  The firm is open to level of candidate from NQ level upwards and the position can be based in any of the firm’s offices across Scotland.

Private Client Partner – Aberdeen (Assignment 15652)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this senior Private Client role with our client, a well-established law firm headquartered in Aberdeen. The firm is currently looking to recruit a Partner to lead the firm’s highly regarded Private Client team on a full-time basis.

The role is based in Aberdeen; however, the firm will also consider Edinburgh or Glasgow for the right person. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of private client work such as wills & executries, trusts & estate administration, powers of attorney and inheritance tax.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 6 years PQE with a strong background in private client work. Previous experience of working in a managerial role would be advantageous as well as exposure to handling sensitive and complex cases.

This position would be suited to someone with excellent leadership skills and who possesses the ability to drive successful outcomes in legal matters.

Senior Private Client Lawyer – Edinburgh (Assignment 13925)

Our client, a UK law firm, is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its private client team in Edinburgh. The position is based within the Personal and Family practice area. The firm is open to level of candidates, ideally with 6+ years’ PQE. The role will involve wills, powers of attorney, and executries and trusts.  It will also afford the exposure to estate planning for high-net-worth clients and cross-border work.

Applicants should be passionate and well-versed in this area of the law and have experience of dealing with complex private client cases. The firm can offer a competitive salary and has a hybrid working policy.

Senior Private Client Lawyer – Edinburgh/Glasgow/Perth (Assignment 15007)

This dynamic law firm is currently recruiting an Associate Solicitor to join its established Private Client team. The post can be held in either the firms Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Perth office. This is a varied and interesting role; you will advise on a wide range of private client matters including:

  • Tax planning
  • Wills
  • Executry administration
  • Powers of attorney

The firm is open to hearing from candidates at a more senior level, ideally 4 years PQE.  A strong background in Private Client work is essential along with a passion for building relationships with clients and colleagues. Senior Private Client Lawyer – Glasgow/Giffnock/Milngavie (Assignment 15194)

This established firm seeks an additional Solicitor to join its busy office in either Glasgow, Giffnock or Milngavie.  The principal area of work for this role is Private Client.  This is a full-time position, and it offers the opportunity to combine office-based working with work from home.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ PQE and be eager to work their way up to director level. You should have extensive experience of Private Client work including wills, trusts and powers of attorney.

Private Client – Flexible Location (Assignment 15216)

Successful Scottish law firm currently recruiting a Private Client Solicitor to join its highly regarded Personal and Family department. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate can be based in any of the firm’s office locations which includes Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. English-based lawyers wishing to work remotely would also be considered.

The role will involve handling a wide range of private client matters including trusts and estate administration, powers of attorney, wills, estate planning, and advising on tax and succession issues. You can expect to work closely with different teams within the business including corporate, litigation, real estate, and tax.

To be considered for this role, you should be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and be at the NQ-4 PQE level. Previous experience of private client work is desirable as well as experience of dealing with challenging and complex matters. A STEP qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
