Private Client – Aberdeen (Assignment 14811)

This award-winning Law Firm is currently recruiting an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Wills, Trusts & Executries Team. The role is based in Aberdeen with hybrid/remote working options available.

The role will involve working with its Family, Corporate, Real Estate and Residential Property teams across Scotland. You will have a varied workload of Private Client work which will include advising on all aspects of executry and trust administration, Wills and Powers of Attorney and providing succession planning, asset protection and tax mitigation advice.

To be considered for this role you should be at the 2-4 years’ PQE level for the Senior Solicitor position and at the 5-10 years’ PQE for the Associate role. You will have a passion for private client work and a client centred approach. A STEP qualified is desired, however the Firm provide a funded learning scheme for this not STEP qualified.

This is a full-time position, offering excellent opportunities for career progression and a flexible home working policy.

Junior Private Client – Aberdeen (Assignment 16162)

This well-established Scottish Law Firm is currently seeking an additional Lawyer to join its Private Client Team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will join one of Scotland’s largest teams of private client specialists and will play a significant role in providing professional advice on clients personal, legal and tax requirements.

You can expect to be involved in all aspects of private client matters, including the administration of trusts and executries, assisting with tax planning, estate planning, powers of attorney, and involvement in adults with incapacity cases. The team is keen to hear from newly qualified Lawyers who have recently completed a seat in private client during their traineeship as well as a genuine interest in this area.

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Lawyer to develop their skills and knowledge in this area, working closely with legal experts within the firm who are currently considered to be ‘top-ranked’ within Private Client and Family Law in Chambers and Partners.

Legal Director/Partner, Private Client – Glasgow (Assignment 11542)

Our client is seeking an additional Private Client Partner or Legal Director to join its firm in Glasgow.  The ideal candidate will be at least 10 years’ PQE with experience in private client work. This role would suit someone interested in the opportunity to lead or develop a team. This firm offers a positive working environment, and the role offers a competitive salary and benefits package. This is a unique role with a firm committed to investing in this area.

Senior Private Client/Conveyancing – Lanarkshire (Assignment 13241)

Our client is a niche law firm based in Lanark with clients spread all over Scotland.  This firm is looking to recruit an ambitious Private Client Solicitor, ideally with at least 5 year’s pqe.  Working alongside the firm’s Directors, you will mainly focus on private client work, including wills, powers of attorney, trusts and executries.  There is also the opportunity to be involved in residential conveyancing.  This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to join this progressive firm.  An excellent working environment, along with good prospects for progression and development are on offer for the right candidate.  Remote working would be considered.

Private Client – Edinburgh/Hybrid (Assignment 16108)

This long-established Law Firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Private Client Team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of private client work including wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, and estate planning.

The firm is keen to hear candidates at 1-6 years’ PQE level with a strong working knowledge of private client law and particularly, experience in a client facing role. This role offers advancement opportunities for the right person that is also capable of additional responsibilities as the business expands. This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model to ensure more work/life balance.

Private Client Associate – Dundee (Assignment 14816)

This dynamic Law Firm is currently recruiting a Senior Associate to join its growing Private Client Team based in Dundee. This is a varied and interesting role; you will advise on a wide range of private client matters including:

  • Asset Protection & Succession Planning
  • Inheritance Tax Planning
  • The Creation and Administration of Private and Charitable Trusts
  • Wills, Executries and Powers of Attorney

The firm is open to hearing from candidates at a more senior level, ideally 3 years PQE.  A strong background in Private Client work is essential along with a passion for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
