Private Client – Aberdeen (Assignment 16191) 

Our client, an established full-service firm in Aberdeen, is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its busy private client practice. The role will involve a wide range of transactions, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and executries.

The position would be suited to those with NQ – 3 years’ PQE, however, those outside this bracket are welcome to apply. The firm is open to candidates who might not have Private Client experience but have a real interest in this area and are willing to invest the time to learn. Interested applicants should be confident in prioritising their own workload.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy firm with retraining prospects and an excellent working environment. The firm also offers to finance the successful candidate through the STEP Scotland qualification.

General Practice Solicitor – Wishaw (North Lanarkshire) (Assignment 16220) 

Our client, a modern and well-established law firm, is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its conveyancing and litigation teams in Wishaw. The firm offers a wide range of legal services to both business and private clients.

The role will be interesting and varied with lots of client contact.  The firm advise a broad range of clients in areas such as private client, litigation, family law and residential conveyancing work. The postholder will have the opportunity to specialise in one of these areas while also providing general support to other departments as needed.  No day is the same working with this firm and lots of support is on hand from an experienced team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be at the NQ level, however, more experienced applicants would be welcomed as well. Previous experience in residential conveyancing, private client, litigation, or family law is desirable, however, candidates are not required to hold experience in all of these areas.

Private Client – Aberdeen (Assignment 16162) 

This well-established Scottish law firm is currently seeking an additional Lawyer to join its Private Client Team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will join one of Scotland’s largest teams of private client specialists and will play a significant role in providing professional advice on clients personal, legal and tax requirements.

You can expect to be involved in all aspects of private client matters, including the administration of trusts and executries, assisting with tax planning, estate planning, powers of attorney, and involvement in adults with incapacity cases. The team is keen to hear from newly qualified Lawyers who have recently completed a seat in private client during their traineeship as well as a genuine interest in this area.

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Lawyer to develop their skills and knowledge in this area, working closely with legal experts within the firm who are currently considered to be ‘top-ranked’ within Private Client and Family Law in Chambers and Partners.

Private Client – Ayr (Assignment 16139) 

This reputable firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its busy Private Client Practice in Ayr. It is a small firm so you may expect a busy workload in all aspects of private client matters such as wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, and estate planning.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years PQE and have private client experience. It would also be advantageous to have experience in a client-facing role. This is a full-time position and a great opportunity to advance your career.

Private Client – Glasgow (Assignment 16133) 

This well-established law firm is currently recruiting for a Solicitor to join its highly regarded Private Client practice in Glasgow. The team advises on the full range of private client services across Scotland.

The ideal candidate for this position will be at 3-5 years’ PQE level with experience of managing a portfolio in areas such as trusts, executries, and powers of attorney. You may expect to be working with partners on complex cases. This is a full-time position that offers career development opportunities in a supportive working environment.

Private Client Solicitor – Fife (Assignment 16058) 

This well-established Scottish law firm is currently recruiting a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its growing Private Client team based in Fife. The team offers advice to clients to assist in future planning and managing significant life events.

This is a varied and interesting role where you will advise on a wide range of private client matters, including:

  • Succession Planning & Asset Protection
  • Inheritance Tax Planning
  • The creation and administration of Charitable and Private Trusts
  • Powers of Attorney, Wills & Executries.

To be considered for this role, you should be a newly qualified lawyer and ideally have completed a private client seat during your traineeship and/or possess some post-qualifying private client experience. You should have achieved STEP Membership or be willing to work towards achieving this accreditation.
