Private Client Associate – Glasgow/Remote (Assignment 15322)

The role is based in Glasgow with hybrid/remote working options available. The team provide Wills, Trusts and Executry services to clients as well as providing Estate Planning advice.

The role will involve:

  • Managing a varied personal caseload of Private Client work
  • Supervising department administrators and other fee earners
  • Providing specialist support to branch network

To be considered for this role you should have between 3-10years’ PQE, with at least 3 years in Private Client work with a strong understanding of the executry process and succession law, as well as sound knowledge of tax law, particularly inheritance, capital gains and income taxes.

You will be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships as well as having the ambition to build on the success of the department.

A STEP qualified is desired, however the Firm provide a funded learning scheme for those not STEP qualified. This is a full-time position, offering excellent opportunities for career progression and a flexible home working policy.

Private Client Solicitor – Glasgow (Assignment 15546)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this private client role, with our client, a wholly based legal firm and estate agents in Scotland. The firm is currently recruiting for a qualified solicitor to join its busy practice in Glasgow.

The role will involve all aspects of private client work as well as some residential work. The role would be suited to lawyers at around the 2-6 years PQE level with a solid background in private client. Previous experience of residential work would be beneficial however is not essential. This is a fully office-based role.

Private Client – Dunfermline (Assignment 12833)

This modern firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its award-winning Private Client team.  The ideal candidates should be between the 2-6 years’ PQE in private client and executries.   You will be involved in all aspects of private client work, and you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.  The firm support hybrid working, and part-time work would also be considered.

Senior Associate Private Client (Personal and Family/Wills Executry) – Edinburgh (Assignment 13925)

Our client, a UK law firm, is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its private client team in Edinburgh. The position is based within the Personal and Family practice area. The firm is open to level of candidates, ideally with 6+ years’ PQE. The role will involve wills, powers of attorney, and executries and trusts.  It will also afford the exposure to estate planning for high-net-worth clients and cross border work.  Applicants should be passionate and well-versed in this area of the law and have experience of dealing with complex private client cases. The firm can offer a competitive salary and has a hybrid working policy.

Private Client Associate (Trust Management Team) – Glasgow/Hybrid/Remote (Assignment 15474)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this new Private Client role with our client, a full-service law firm specialising in personal injury claims. The firm is currently recruiting for a experienced solicitor to join its busy Trust Management team in Glasgow; the position is full time and the firm also support Hybrid working.

The successful candidate can expect to handle a varied caseload of complex private client matters; you will also be responsible for supervising and guiding the team while assuming a key role in the firm’s operations and client acquisition efforts.

The firm is keen to hear from lawyers at the 3-5 years PQE level with a strong background in Private Client work, particularly administering Trusts. Interested applicants should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage their workload independently.

Private Client Solicitor – Edinburgh (Assignment 15408)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this senior Private Client role with our client, a full-service law firm with offices across Scotland.  The firm is currently recruiting an experienced solicitor to join its well-established Private Client department in Edinburgh.

The purpose of the role is to manage a varied and interesting caseload of private client work and to work closely with the Partner and provide managerial/supervision support to the team if required; the successful candidate will provide advice to a broad range of clients on trusts, executries, wills, powers of attorney, successions, and guardianships.

The firm is keen to hear from candidates at least 4 years post qualification experience and a strong background in private client work; a STEP qualification is desirable, however not essential.
