Residential Conveyancing – Glasgow (Assignment 16012)

This Glasgow-based law firm is currently recruiting a Senior Lawyer specialising in Residential Conveyancing to join its busy practice. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate/Legal Director to work closely with the Partner on a wide range of conveyancing matters, including collaborating with estate agents, managing property transactions, title transfers, contract drafting and review, negotiation, property inspections, and fund transfers.

To be considered for this position, you should possess a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with a strong background in conveyancing, ideally gained within a smaller firm setting. The team is keen to hear from individuals who are ambitious, confident in their own abilities and eager to progress their career within this area. A business following would be beneficial; however, it is not essential.

Real Estate / Rural Business – Edinburgh (Assignment 15989)

A well-established Scottish Law firm currently has an open vacancy for an accomplished Lawyer with expertise in rural property. The successful candidate will join its dynamic Rural Business Team in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 2 years’ PQE with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for the rural sector and rural property work. The team will also consider lawyers with experience in commercial property who genuine interest in moving into this area. Key tasks will include:

  • Providing advice to landowners on rural development including residential, renewables, telecommunications and quarrying.
  • Purchase and sale of estates, farms, forestry and other rural land.
  • Ongoing management legal advice to estates and rural businesses of all sizes including sales of bare land, sales of residential properties, and advising on issues such as land reform, trustee/partnership conveyancing, creation of title conditions.
  • Advising on other types of lettings, such as commercial, residential, sportings and amenity leases.
  • Title queries relating to complex Sasines titles including boundary disputes, access issues and title conditions.

This is an interesting and unique role which also offers the opportunity for career progression.

Conveyancing Solicitor – Glasgow (Assignment 16025)

Our client, a long-established law firm based in Glasgow, is currently recruiting a Conveyancing Lawyer to join its busy team. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive team handling all aspects of property work.

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess between 1-5 years’ PQE with residential property experience. Previous experience in handling secured loan transactions is also desirable.

This role presents the opportunity to join a friendly team based in the bustling City Centre of Glasgow. While the team primarily works from the office, there is also the option of working from home one day per week.

Conveyancing – Perth (Assignment 15909)

We are delighted to be instructed on this junior conveyancing role with our client, a successful firm in the heart of the community in Perth. The firm is one of the longest established legal firms in the area, providing a comprehensive range of services to both individuals and commercial organisations.

The ideal candidate will be at the NQ to 2 years’ PQE level, ideally with some experience in residential conveyancing work. You will manage your own caseload, which will involve a range of conveyancing matters, including buying and selling properties, transfers of titles, title problems, and boundary disputes. This is a full-time position. The firm operates a hybrid working policy that allows employees to work from home two days per week, although this can be flexible.
