Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Aberdeen/Ellon (Assignment 15987)

Our client, a successful law firm which is one of the largest in Northeast Scotland, is currently recruiting for a Residential Conveyancing Lawyer in Aberdeen.

The work will be engaging and will focus heavily on residential matters with a lot of direct client contact. The team is keen to speak with enthusiastic lawyers at the NQ-5 PQE level who have previous experience in this area. Early 2024 qualifiers are also encouraged to apply.

Residential Property Partner – Edinburgh (Assignment 16505)

This reputable law firm is currently recruiting a Partner to lead its busy and growing Residential Property team in Edinburgh. This opportunity is ideal for candidates currently at Senior Associate or Partner level, with the potential for an entry-level Partnership for the right individual.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE level and have a strong background in law firm compliance, experience in a supervisory role mentoring junior staff, and extensive expertise in all aspects of residential property law. The focus of the role will be to ensure the smooth running of the property team, providing support where appropriate, rather than handling an individual caseload.

Land & Property Lawyers – Glasgow (Assignment 15151)

This successful firm currently has a need for a qualified Lawyer to join its Land & Property Team. The role will be based in Glasgow however, the firm support a hybrid working approach.
You will be handling and develop a workload in one or more of residential, commercial and rural conveyancing.

The ideal candidate will be Scottish qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience, but junior lawyers with strong training and experience would also be considered. You will deal with the sale, purchase and leasing of farms, estates, forests, fishings, country homes and other rural properties and development transactions.

The role will be focussed on one or more of the areas described above, depending on candidates’ particular experience or desire to specialise in particular field of property work. This is a full-time or part-time position with a firm who offer excellent support and opportunity to build your career.

Residential Conveyancing Partner – Flexible Location (Assignment 11202)

This growing national law firm is looking for a Residential Conveyancing Partner. The role will involve managing the residential conveyancing department to ensure excellent client service, taking the lead on providing legal advice to clients and negotiating contracts in connection with the purchase and sale of residential property.

Key tasks will include:

• Taking the lead on advising clients on matters relating to the purchase, sale, and transfer of residential property, negotiating missives on behalf of clients and examining and reporting on title.
• Being proactive in the financial control of your caseload, and the financial performance of the team, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
• Continuously seek to improve your own performance and that of the team.
• Manage your workload competently, professionally, efficiently and cost effectively, acting as a role model to others.
• Promote the services of the firm to all clients, actively seeking new contacts, develop and convert your contacts into new business.
• Manage your own technical learning, and being recognised, internally and externally as an expert in your chosen field.

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Livingston (Assignment 13612)

This highly regarded Law Firm is recruiting a Solicitor to join its Residential Conveyancing Team in Livingston. This role offers a varied and challenging workload, involving all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfer of title.

The position would suit candidates at the NQ to 1-year PQE level who are keen to progress their careers in this area. Second-year trainees wishing to assign their training contracts and early 2025 qualifiers, as well as candidates interested in working compressed hours, will also be considered.

Our client, a well-established law firm, is currently recruiting for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its expanding Property team in Glasgow. The primary purpose of the role is to manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE and expertise in all aspects of property law, with particular focus on the residential property market, alongside excellent technical knowledge. Experience in a client-facing role is advantageous, as this position involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients and property agents.

In this role, you will be part of a national team handling major residential development and investment projects, working on high-value contracts such as transfers, promotion agreements, and development funding. The team is particularly interested in candidates with 8+ years’ PQE, a strong background in residential property, and demonstrated skills in client management and leadership. Knowledge of the UK Living Sector is essential.
