Assistant Solicitor – Wishaw (assignment 14890)

Our client, a modern and well-established law firm, is currently recruiting for two Assistant Solicitors to join its Conveyancing and Litigation teams based in Wishaw. The positions are full time, and the successful candidates will handle an interesting and varied caseload including private client, litigation, family law and some residential conveyancing work.

The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years PQE (although other levels will be considered for the right candidates) and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic legal environment. Previous experience of the above areas of law is preferred, however, candidates are not required to hold experience in every one. This is a fantastic opportunity for junior lawyers to develop their skills and knowledge in a friendly and supportive environment. Legal Director/Partner, Residential Conveyancing – Ayr (assignment 14969)

This small established firm is currently seeking for a residential conveyancing Partner in its Ayrshire offices.  The role involves all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, along with some commercial leasing.

Candidates should have at least 5 years’ PQE with relevant property experience. Flexible working is an option.

Commercial/Residential Property Solicitor – Stewarton/Kilmarnock (assignment 14700)

Our client, an established Ayrshire-based firm, is seeking to recruit a full-time qualified solicitor. This role will cover all aspects of commercial and residential conveyancing with the possibility of leading into rural matters. The firm has two offices located in East Ayrshire

This is a succession planning role and ideally candidates should have prior experience working on commercial property and rural conveyancing transactions, however training will be provided if required. Candidates at the NQ level and upwards will be considered and a competitive salary will reflect experience. The opportunity offers a good work life balance and a view to progress through the business.

Senior Associate, Conveyancing – Edinburgh (assignment 14735)

This long-established firm is currently recruiting a Senior Solicitor at Director level to support the growth of the Residential Conveyancing Team.  This role would suit candidates with a residential conveyancing background who are keen to take the next step in their career.   You will be involved in all aspects of residential conveyancing and should have excellent business development skills and a genuine interest in this area. A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer.  This role can also be Glasgow based and the firm offer hybrid working.

Property Lawyer (Development & Investment) – Glasgow (assignment 14757)

Our client, a market leading UK law firm is growing, and it currently has a need for a Property Lawyer to join its busy team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of commercial transactions including leading edge leasing and asset management work, complex investment acquisitions and disposals and acting for major occupiers.

The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-6 year’s PQE level, ideally with a broad range of property experience. Early 2023 qualifiers will also be considered. This is a client facing-role, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. This is a full-time position and is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and recognised Property team.

Commercial Property Solicitor – Edinburgh (assignment 13961)

This leading commercial firm is currently recruiting a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its team in Edinburgh.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative firm and be involved in all aspects of commercial property.  Your duties will include:

  • Advise on commercial property purchase and sale contracts, leasing, examining title and security work.
  • Assisting the Corporate team in Edinburgh on all aspects of commercial property transactions.
  • Managing workload competently, professionally, and cost effectively.

This firm is open to hearing from candidates at the NQ – 4 years’ PQE level. Candidates wishing to work part-time would be considered.

Senior Legal Counsel – Glasgow / Hybrid (assignment 14720)

This leading renewable energy company is seeking to appoint an In-House Senior Legal Counsel, based in Glasgow.  The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years PQE, be qualified in Scotland and/or dual qualified in England & Wales and have experience in the renewable energy industry or development work.

The role will mainly focus on property work (as well as some aspects of planning), and you will provide legal advice and support to relevant business units as well as working closely and supervising other members of the legal team. You will primarily support the commercial and development teams (in particular, the property managers) within the organisation. The successful candidate will be involved in major projects and can expect to instruct and manage external legal counsel in major transactions/projects.

Previous in-house experience is not essential; however, the candidate should be able to show commercial awareness and must be diligent with attention to detail. Previous experience in property law and planning would also be advantageous.
