Associate Partner/Senior Associate, Commercial & Insurance – Glasgow/Hybrid/Remote (Assignment 15623)

Our client, a leading provider of legal and claims solutions, is currently seeking a qualified solicitor to join its Commercial & Insurance team in Glasgow.  The team pride themselves on making an impact through providing excellent results through a solution focused service.

You will be dealing with a case load of insurance litigation files including elements of commercial litigation, professional indemnity and property coverage engaging with insurer clients and their customers.

This is an interesting role open to candidates with at least 5 years’ PQE with experience in a similar role handling a full and varied caseload of insurance and commercial litigation files. If you have experience of working in the insurance industry, this would be beneficial but not essential.

You will be a dedicated individual who can inspire and supervise junior team members and be able to work to tight deadlines managing the lifecycle of a claim from start to finish.

Senior Legal Counsel – (Hamilton) Lanarkshire (Assignment 15490)

Due to notable growth, this company is currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to become a part of their team in Hamilton. Your role will encompass delivering legal guidance across all aspects of operations, including involvement in design and build initiatives, as well as the ownership, operation, and maintenance of utilities infrastructure throughout Great Britain.

You will be an integral legal partner for a range of legal projects and contracts including construction and procurement. Individuals interested in this opportunity should have experience in commercial contracts, construction, or infrastructure law, acquired in either an in-house environment or private practice.

Primary duties include:

  • Providing support for corporate activities and ensuring corporate governance adherence
  • Addressing anti-bribery and corruption concerns
  • Managing data protection matters
  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations

The ideal candidate will be at 5-8 years’ PQE however, individuals with the relevant expertise and skills outside the defined PQE range are also encouraged to apply. This is a full-time role with a hybrid working model.

IP Partner – Edinburgh/Hybrid (Assignment 15744)

This international law firm is currently recruiting a Partner to join its award-winning Intellectual Property Team in Edinburgh.  The team works across a wide range of industry sectors providing advice on the full range of IP rights. You will bring expertise to drive the business forward and take responsibility for the development of more junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their development. As well as supporting offices across Britain, you will also work with colleagues in the USA.

The ideal candidate should have a diverse background in IP transactions, IP disputes and be adept at drafting and negotiating complex IP agreements.  You should also have experience in building and sustaining an IP practice, as well as in-depth sector and market knowledge.

Commercial Property Partner – Edinburgh (Assignment 15554)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this new Partner-level role with our client, a successful Scottish based law firm. The firm is currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join its highly regard Commercial Property team in Edinburgh at partnership level.

The team handle a wide variety of interesting commercial property matters including property finance, property investment, sales and purchases, leasing and property disputes; there may also be scope to be involved in the English property market.

This is a great opportunity to join a successful and friendly firm and would be suited to senior lawyers with at least 10 years PQE and who come from a strong commercial property background. There will also be opportunity to bring a following, however this is not essential.

Associate/Senior Associate, Dispute Resolution – Glasgow (Assignment 15650)

This award-winning Scottish law firm is currently recruiting an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team in Glasgow. The team provide litigation advice to a range of clients throughout Scotland.

To be considered for this role you should have at least 5 years’ PQE with a strong litigation background. You will be involved in all aspects of dispute resolution matters including insolvency, and commercial and property litigation. The firm is seeking someone with a proven track record of driving successful outcomes in legal matters with a passion for advancing team objectives.

Senior Solicitor/Partner, Corporate – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 15651)

Exciting opportunity to join this award-winning Scottish law firm. A newly created full-time position for an experienced Legal Director or Partner to join its corporate team in either Glasgow of Edinburgh.

The firm is seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who can demonstrate a strong foundation in corporate law. You will take a leading role across various aspects of corporate law including mergers and acquisitions and will provide advice to private equity investors on seed and venture capital investments. You will also use your corporate expertise to foster business growth in the realms of employment, regulatory and litigation.

You will be committed to furthering team objectives and contributing to the firm’s growth. The firm is committed to supporting this senior role with the hiring of additional lawyers to the corporate team.
