Our client, a multinational company, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its In-House Legal Team in Glasgow. The role involves providing expert legal advice, drafting and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance across commercial and technology operations.

Candidates with 1–3 years’ PQE are encouraged to apply, especially those with experience in commercial contracts, corporate matters, company secretarial work, IP and IT, or dispute resolution. Those with expertise in one area and a willingness to broaden their skills are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts, including commercial, technology, and internal policy agreements.
  • Support the business on compliance, GDPR, IP, employment, and corporate matters.
  • Maintain and improve document templates and internal legal resources.
  • Provide legal support for commercial activities, due diligence, and process improvements.
  • Advise on information security policies, governance, and authorisations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, confident, and able to deliver clear, pragmatic, commercially focused legal guidance. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and providing approachable advice.
