A leading Scottish law firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its Employment team in Dundee or Glasgow. The role involves advising a varied client base on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims.
  • Managing and supporting Employment Tribunal litigation, including hearings and judicial mediations.
  • Providing practical advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence management and other workplace issues.
  • Supporting corporate transactions, including M&A, due diligence and TUPE matters, and drafting employment-related documentation.
  • Advising on restructures, redundancies, settlement agreements and business protection matters, while contributing to client development and training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ PQE, with solid employment law experience and experience of tribunal litigation. The firm offers high-quality work, a collaborative and supportive culture, as well as hybrid working opportunities.
