This leading international law firm is recruiting a Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join its highly regarded litigation team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value disputes acting for insurers and professional clients across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of professional indemnity and insurance disputes from inception through to resolution
  • Advising insurers and policyholders on liability, indemnity and coverage issues
  • Handling complex, multi-party and high-value litigation matters
  • Drafting pleadings, reports and technical legal advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior team members

Applicants should be Scottish qualified solicitors with at least 4 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation or commercial disputes. Experience defending claims involving construction professionals, accountants, brokers or financial institutions would be advantageous. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex matters independently.
