Associate/Director, Dispute Resolution (Construction) – Glasgow (Assignment 13497)

This firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Dispute Resolution Team in Glasgow.  This role will focus on construction litigation and will involve handling standard form and contractual disputes in the Courts, Adjudications and in Arbitration.  Some of your duties will include:

  • Acting on behalf of clients in the resolution of contentious issues, including conducting hearings, adjudication referrals, cases in the Sheriff Court, Court of Session, and through alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Taking statements, attending consultations, drafting pleadings, instructing expert witnesses
  • Actively participating in business development opportunities
  • Working collaboratively and flexibly with other team members

To be considered for this position you should have at least 5 years’ PQE and have strong construction litigation experience.  Experience in commercial litigation and debt recovery would be beneficial.

Litigation/Government Regulation and Competition (GRC) – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 14961)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading Government, Regulation and Competition team within this forward-thinking firm. The role can be based in either the firm’s Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The ideal candidate will be at the 1-4 years’ PQE level, have a keen interest in public law and regulatory matters. The team advises on a range of interesting contentious and non-contentious matters, and you will advise on complex legal arguments, regulatory and compliance and assist in identifying relevant evidence.  You should also have knowledge of competition law, which is a requirement for the role. Previous experience of other areas of law mentioned would be beneficial but not essential.

The team is keen to hear from candidates with genuine enthusiasm and interest in handling broad and varied caseloads.

Solicitor/Senior Solicitor (Litigation/Contentious-Construction) – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 11987)

This leading law firm is currently recruiting a solicitor to join its Construction Team.  This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and would suit candidates with between 1 – 8 years’ PQE in this area. Ideally, you should have some construction litigation experience, however, those coming from a commercial or property litigation background will also be considered.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of work including contentious claims and insurance disputes across a range of formal dispute proceedings including mediation, adjudication, litigation, and arbitration.

Junior Partner, Commercial Litigation – Glasgow (Assignment 11395)

We are currently working on this excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial litigation lawyer at either senior associate or junior partner level. This role is based in Glasgow. You should be an ambitious individual with the hunger and desire to progress your career to the next level within a supportive firm. The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial litigator and will ideally have gained experience advising on a range of disputes including property, financial services, and commercial contracts.

Healthcare Associate (Personal Injury) – Edinburgh / Glasgow (Assignment 14038)

Our client is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Personal Injury Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.  You will join a leading team who act for a range of clients including indemnifiers and insurers, as well as directly for healthcare professionals, local authorities, and charities. This is a varied and interesting role where you will advise on a mixed caseload of healthcare and abuse claims.  This is the leading team in Scotland in this sector and this is an unrivalled opportunity to gain experience working with some of the most highly regarded lawyers in this growing area of law.

To be considered for this position you should be at the NQ-5 years’ PQE level and have previous personal injury experience. Early 2023 qualifiers will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Civil Court Solicitor/Associate – Greenock (Inverclyde) (Assignment 14686)

Exciting opportunity to join a friendly firm in Greenock!  Our client is currently recruiting a Litigation Solicitor to focus on Family Law, Landlord and Tenant disputes and other aspects of civil litigation. You will be involved in a range of work relating to family law which will include advising on cohabitation, marriage and divorce, financial provisions, adoption, contact, parental responsibilities, and relocation.

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ PQE and have relevant litigation experience.  You should also have a desire to develop your knowledge in Landlord and Tenant disputes.

In-House Litigator – Glasgow (Assignment 14950)

We are currently working on this exciting new role within an international business with a Glasgow base.  The organisation is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its highly regarded Litigation team.  You will be involved in a range of interesting litigation work including debt recovery, personal injury, contractual disputes, construction, bankruptcies, and shareholder disputes.

This role would ideally suit a qualified solicitor with experience in commercial litigation but candidates with experience in an area of litigation will be considered including debt recovery, personal injury and civil litigation.  The team is keen to hear from candidates with at least 1-year PQE and above.

This is a unique opportunity for a litigator to move to an in-house legal role.  In return, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to market leading work and a highly competitive package including bonus and car allowance.
