Private Client – Edinburgh/Hybrid (Assignment 16108) 

This long-established law firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its private client team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of private client work including wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, and estate planning.

The firm is keen to hear candidates from 2 years PQE level and upwards with a strong working knowledge of private client law and particularly, experience in a client-facing role. This role offers advancement opportunities for the right person that is also capable of additional responsibilities as the business expands. This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model to ensure more work/life balance.

Property Solicitor – Ayr (Assignment 13101)

Our client currently has a role for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its team in Ayr.  The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ pqe and previous property experience.  Appointment of a suitably experienced candidate at Associate level will also be considered.

To be considered for this role you should have experience of managing a wide range of property matters and have a successful proven track record of handling the full cycle of conveyancing transactions from inception through to completion. Commercial Property (& Residential Conveyancing) – Edinburgh (Assignment 16072)

We have been instructed on this new role with our client, a successful Solicitors and Estate Agents in Edinburgh who offer expertise in Employment Law, Property Law, Private Client, and Dispute Resolution. Currently, the firm is seeking a Property Lawyer for their Edinburgh office.

The chosen candidate can expect to advise on a mix of property matters including residential and commercial conveyancing. To be considered for this role, you will be at the NQ-2 PQE level, ideally with previous experience in these areas. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy a diverse range of tasks in their work.

Private Client Solicitor – Ayr (Assignment 16064) 

This Ayrshire-based Law Firm is currently recruiting for Solicitor to join its busy Private Client team. The team is offering various legal services including employment law, family law, child law, private client matters, and mental health.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years PQE level with experience in Wills, Trust & Executries, and powers of attorney. Despite requiring practical experience in all areas of private client work, conveyancing experience would also be advantageous.

This role is offered as a full-time position, with potential flexibility for compressed hours or a four-day workweek.

Executry Solicitor – Glasgow (Assignment 16019)

Our client, a long-established Scottish law firm, is currently recruiting an Executry Solicitor to join its busy team in Glasgow. The team provides a discreet and professional service across all areas of Private Client matters.

The role involves dealing with estate administration, as well as Wills and Powers of Attorney. Candidates will be able to manage their own files and work with minimal supervision. The team is keen to hear from individuals at the NQ-3 PQE level with experience in this area.

Salary for this position will be commensurate with level and experience. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team on a full-time or part time-basis in the bustling City Centre of Glasgow.

Private Client Partner – Ayr (Assignment 14222) 

Due to succession planning this busy firm is currently recruiting a Private Client Partner to lead the team.  The team advise on all aspects of private client work relating to Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, administration of estates, Powers of Attorney and Guardianship.

To be considered for this position you should be an ambitious solicitor with strong private client experience.  You should have a genuine interest in progressing your career within this area and will be expected to be involved in business development.  You should also be keen on living and working in Ayrshire.

(Permanent/Interim) Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Peebles (Assignment 16120) 

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a Scottish Law Firm based in Peebles. The firm currently has an open vacancy for an established Lawyer to join its Conveyancing Team. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of residential conveyancing including re-mortgages, sales, transfer of titles, and drafting and reviewing contracts.

The team is keen to speak with ambitious candidates with at least 2 years’ PQE and above with previous experience in this area. You will also be confident running your own caseload with minimal supervision.

Residential Conveyancing – Glasgow (Assignment 16012) 

This Glasgow-based law firm is currently recruiting a Senior Lawyer specialising in Residential Conveyancing to join its busy practice. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate/Legal Director to work closely with the Partner on a wide range of conveyancing matters, including collaborating with estate agents, managing property transactions, title transfers, contract drafting and review, negotiation, property inspections, and fund transfers.

To be considered for this position, you should possess a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with a strong background in conveyancing, ideally gained within a smaller firm setting. The team is keen to hear from individuals who are ambitious, confident in their own abilities and eager to progress their career within this area. A business following would be beneficial; however, it is not essential.

Private Client Solicitor – Hamilton (Assignment 15915) 

This established law firm is currently recruiting a junior Solicitor to join its Private Client Team in Hamilton.  You will be involved in all aspects of private client work including wills, trusts and executries, Inheritance Tax and asset protection, divorce and family law. The team is open to hearing from candidates at the NQ level upwards, who have previous private client experience.  Interested applicants should be confident in their ability to handle a busy caseload and prioritise work effectively.
