Solicitor Asylum & Immigration – Glasgow (Assignment 15294)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this new and interesting role with our client, a successful Scottish firm based in Glasgow. This is a new role, and the firm is currently recruiting a qualified solicitor specialising in asylum and immigration law to join its busy practice. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of immigration law including advising on human rights, nationality issues, employment matters and visas.

The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-3 PQE level and would ideally have prior experience working in Immigration Law and handling sensitive and complex cases. Candidates with experience in other areas of law may also be considered as the right person. This position will be very client-focused from the get-go, the firm requires someone who is confident and a self-starter.

Private Client Lawyer – Hamilton / Hybrid (Assignment 15373)

This established law firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Private Client Team.  The firm is keen to hear from candidates at the 4-year PQE level and upwards who are passionate about this area of law.

You will be involved in all aspects of private client work and some of your duties will include wills, trusts and POA’s.

This is a friendly firm that offers a great work/life balance and career prospects.  Hybrid working would also be considered.

Solicitor, Conveyancing and Private Client – Ayrshire (Assignment 15082)

We are delighted to have been exclusively instructed on this newly created position with our client based in East Ayrshire.  The firm is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its busy private client and conveyancing practices.

The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of private client work including powers of attorney, wills and estates, charity administration and trusts, as well as residential conveyancing matters.

To be considered for this role, you should be at the NQ-1 PQE level; previous experience of private client work is essential. Previous experience of conveyancing is desirable however not essential, and training will be provided if required. This opportunity offers a clear path to career progression for a motivated individual, and the firm may also offer the postholder the opportunity to complete a STEP qualification in the near future.

This is a full-time and office-based position.  The location has good transport links and parking on-site.

Private Client Solicitor – Edinburgh (Assignment 13457)

We have been exclusively instructed on this fantastic private client opportunity with our client, a successful firm of specialists and estate agents. The firm pride themselves in providing expert advice to clients, offering a personal service which adds real value.

The firm currently has a need for an Associate/Partner to join its successful and growing Private Client Team. You will deal with all aspects of private client work including executries, wills and Powers of Attorney.  You will deal with clients who are individuals, couples, families, and SMEs – doing good quality work.

The firm is open to hearing from candidates from the NQ level up to 10 years’ PQE, early 2023 qualifiers will also be considered. Candidates at the junior end are required to have at least 12 months of Private Client experience. This role can be hybrid with the expectation of at least 3 days a week in the office.

Civil/Family Solicitor – Inverness (Assignment 15192)

We have been instructed on this newly created Family Law role with our client, a long-established law firm and estate agents in the Highlands. Due to a restructure, the firm currently have a need for a senior solicitor to join its busy Civil Court team in Inverness. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of family law along with some civil court work.

To be considered for this role, you should be a qualified solicitor with at least 5+ years PQE and come from a strong background in family/civil litigation. Prior experience of handling sensitive and complex cases relating to families is desirable, you will also have the ability to handle your own caseload independently with minimal supervision. This position is full-time, and the firm supports Hybrid working with an expectation of two days per week office presence.
