This offshore law firm is currently recruiting a litigation lawyer to join its busy Dispute Resolution Team in Guernsey. The position is full-time, and the successful candidate will join a team of diverse lawyers from different backgrounds and levels of experience.

The team provides professional advice on all aspects of dispute resolution including contentious commercial issues. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling restructuring and insolvency matters.
  • Producing fee estimates and quotations and ensure clients are fully informed as to the fees and disbursements that will be incurred on each matter.
  • Managing your own financial responsibilities including time recording, billing, WIP and debt.
  • Staying up to date with new legislation and topics of interest in the relevant markets and how these changes affect clients and matters is also key.

The ideal candidate for this position will have between 1-3 years’ PQE with a background in litigation. Previous experience in handling complex commercial disputes would be beneficial.
