This progressive law firm has a vacancy for a Corporate Solicitor to join its busy team in Edinburgh. You will provide a competent and efficient legal service, concentrating on corporate and technology matters as well as general commercial matters including investments, sales, acquisitions, shareholder agreements, intellectual property agreements and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Firm in its growth and development
  • Taking responsibility for noticing and solving client care problems
  • Taking a pro-active approach to the work carried out for clients and establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with them
  • Understanding and implementing the Firms’ approach to excellence to provide excellence of service to all clients

You will have sound legal knowledge with in depth corporate experience and a high level of technical competence. You will be able to work predominantly unsupervised and meet fee targets and achieve realisation rates as well as being able to assess clients’ needs and offer practical guidance.

To be considered for this position, you should be at the NQ to 4 years’ PQE level, although only candidates at the NQ level, who have completed a seat in this area during their traineeship will be considered.
