Corporate Solicitor – flexible location

This award-winning law firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its corporate team based any of the firms offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow,  remote working will also be an option.  The ideal candidate should have at least 1 years’ corporate PQE  and have a strong desire to progress your career in this area.  You will deal with a broad range of corporate transactions and will act for a range of clients across the country.  The work you will be involved in will include:

  • M&A – buying and selling companies / businesses
  • Investments into companies
  • Joint ventures
  • Group reorganisations
  • Succession planning
  • General private company corporate work

You should have good corporate experience and be able to deal with the routine aspects of a corporate deal.  A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer. (Assignment 12778)

Corporate Solicitor (US experience) – Edinburgh

This market leading firm currently have a need for a Solicitor to join its Corporate and dedicated US Team.  The role will focus on M&A and equity investments, whilst advising on US transactions.  The team support organisations as they expand to the US, from initial set up to investment and exits.

To be considered for this position you should be at the 2 – 10 years’ PQE level and have previous corporate experience.  You should be US qualified or UK qualified with experience of working on US transactions.

In-house Lawyer required for growing Investments company

We are delighted to be exclusively instructed on this senior role within a growing investments company. This role is based within the Private Client and Asset Management team and the ideal candidate will have at least 6/7 years’ PQE. The role reports to the Director of Risk & Compliance, and involves advice and guidance to the business on regulatory and legal matters, including the drafting, implementation and embedding of regulatory policies, procedures, and practices.

The organisation requires candidates with strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide value-added and actionable recommendations to the business. Interested candidates should be able to multi-task and prioritise a challenging and diverse workload. Experience in corporate governance would be advantageous, whilst knowledge of FCA regulations is essential.

This role is based in Haddington, East Lothian and requires a candidate seeking full time hours. The organisation’s hybrid working model offers the flexibility to work from home two days per week.  (Assignment 14241)

Senior Corporate Solicitor – Glasgow

This dynamic law firm currently has a need to a Corporate Solicitor to join its team in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen. This is a prosperous position that would suit candidates at the 5 years’ PQE up to partner level. Operating at a senior level, you will be managing your own clients and looking to progress your career.

You will be involved in a range of work which includes; incorporation and business services, company secretarial services, acquisitions and disposals, commercial contracts and the protection, exploitation and acquisition of Intellectual Property. You must be driven and technically excellent.  (Assignment 12471)

Interim Legal Counsel – Glasgow/Remote

We have just been exclusively instructed on this interim in-house role based in Glasgow/remotely. Our client is looking to add a Legal Counsel to team for the interim period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will be at the NQ – 5 years’ PQE level. The organisation is keen to hear from candidates with commercial transactions experience, e.g., commercial contracts, corporate, commercial litigation and company secretary.

This is an interesting a varied role where you will provide general corporate and commercial support to the busy legal team. You will be involved in all aspects of corporate law matters in relation to the organisation which will including M&A matters.

This role is predominantly remote, with the team meeting once per week in the office.
