Senior Associate to Partner level – Family Law – Glasgow (Assignment 15371)

Our client, a Scottish full-service firm, is seeking a number of senior level lawyers to join its teams in Glasgow. Due to continued growth in the West Coast, the firm has Senior level to Partner lever opportunities across a range of practice areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with drive and ambition, looking to help shape the Glasgow office in their own practice area.

All of the roles are based in Glasgow with the exception of the Banking role which can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to be part of an ambitious and forward-thinking Scottish firm.

Civil/Family Solicitor – Inverness (Assignment 15192)

We have been instructed on this newly created Family Law role with our client, a long-established law firm and estate agents in the Highlands. Due to a restructure, the firm currently have a need for a senior solicitor to join its busy Civil Court team in Inverness. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of family law along with some civil court work. To be considered for this role, you should be a qualified solicitor with at least 5+ years PQE and come from a strong background in family/civil litigation. Prior experience of handling sensitive and complex cases relating to families is desirable, you will also have the ability to handle your own caseload independently with minimal supervision. This position is full-time, and the firm supports Hybrid working with an expectation of two days per week office presence.

Family Law Solicitor – Edinburgh (Assignment 14899)

Our client, a long-established law firm who specialise in Family Law, currently has a need for a Senior Associate to join its busy team based in Edinburgh; however, the role can be fully remote for the right person. You will be involved in all aspects of family law work including divorce and separation, cohabitation agreements and child law. You will also be responsible for managing your own caseload, delivering accurate, high-quality advice to a wide range of clients and help to develop an already expanding department. To be considered for this position, you should have at least 3+ years PQE and come from a strong family law/litigation background. Knowledge of Sheriff Court procedures is desirable. The team is keen to hear from candidates who are enthusiastic, show a willingness to learn new tasks, a great team player and can build good rapport with clients and colleagues. Although this position is advertised as full-time, candidates seeking part-time work are also encouraged to apply.

Family Law – Edinburgh (Assignment 15041)

Our client, a well-established boutique law practice with various offices around Scotland, is currently recruiting a qualified Solicitor, specialising in Family Law. You will work with a strong and diverse client base throughout Scotland as well as the Orkney and Shetland Islands, and will be involved in the full range of family law matters from divorce and separation to child law. The firm is open to level of candidates and will also consider newly qualified solicitors. Previous experience of family law work is essential to this role. Working knowledge of private client, employment law and rural property disputes would be beneficial but not essential. The position is full time, however candidates seeking part-time work will also be considered. The successful candidate can be based in any of the firms office locations which include Edinburgh and north of Scotland; hybrid working options are available with a minimum of two days per week office presence required.
