This professional regulatory body is recruiting a Fiscal to join its Professional Conduct Team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a specialist litigation and advocacy role, managing professional conduct prosecutions and appeals involving Scottish solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of professional misconduct prosecutions and appeals
  • Preparing pleadings, legal advice, procedural documentation and correspondence
  • Representing the organisation at hearings before the Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal and relevant Sheriff Court proceedings
