This multinational Law Firm is currently recruiting for a Client Contracts Lawyer to join its busy Risk Management team based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role will involve handling a range of commercial contracts, compliance, and commercial risk matters. Tasks will include:

  • Review various client-facing commercial contracts and provide risk-sensitive advice tailored to local regulatory, cultural, and practice requirements, which can include client bids, RfPs, and panel agreements.
  • Collaborate with partners and other lawyers to negotiate client terms, including direct negotiations with clients.
  • Work with and coordinate other teams within the business to deliver timely and practical advice on a range of contractual issues.
  • Assist in administering an effective global compliance policy to identify and manage client contract risk.

The team is keen to hear from candidates with upwards of 2+ years’ PQE, however, other levels will be considered for those who can demonstrate valuable commercial contracts and/or risk and compliance experience. Interested candidates should have excellent knowledge and experience of commercial contracts; previous experience of risk and compliance would be beneficial but is not essential.
