Level: Partner, Full Time
Section: Law Firm
Location: Scotland, Central Belt, Edinburgh
Ref: FW9609

A leading UK law firm is recruiting for a Legal Director or Partner to its Projects team in Edinburgh. The practice has a strong reputation for advising on complex infrastructure and energy projects, supporting clients across the full project lifecycle with a particular emphasis on strategic, cross-sector work.

The role involves advising developers, investors, funders, and public bodies on a wide range of major projects, including public infrastructure, renewables, energy transition, utilities, and transport. You will lead on project structuring, procurement, and contractual frameworks, working closely with colleagues across construction, planning, real estate, finance, and regulatory disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.

Applicants should have at least 7 years’ PQE, with established experience in projects and infrastructure transactions, ideally with a focus on energy and utilities. The firm is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate the ability to help grow the practice, whether through a business plan, established networks, or an existing client following.

This is a full-time position that offers the chance to step into a visible leadership role, with strong support for both professional development and the growth of the practice.
