This busy Personal Injury Team is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join the team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.  You will deal with a range of personal injury claims on behalf of insurance companies, primarily in respect of motor, public liability and employer liability claims.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting upon instructions, to prepare and investigate the facts surrounding the claim including Interviewing witnesses, preparing statements and instruct/liaise with expert witnesses.
  • To obtain instructions and to follow through to research resolution.
  • To prepare reports for clients, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and appropriately collated in case management systems.
  • To draft letters, court documents and other written submissions.
  • To comply with in house billing and financial requirements, specifically the rendering and recovery of fees.

To be considered for this role you should be at the NQ – 4 years’ PQE level and have previous experience in motor related claims resolution/litigation.  A 2022 qualifier would be considered.   If this position interests you, please get in touch with Teddie or Robert for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 13379)
