In-house Commercial Litigation Solicitor

One of the UK’s fastest growing company is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its growing in-house legal team.  This role is based in Perthshire, but location is flexible. Hybrid working is on offer, and you will be required to be in the office 1 or 2 days per week.  The ideal candidate for this position will have between 1-5 years’ pqe and a strong commercial background, although more senior level candidates will be considered.  Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing focussed and commercial legal advice on all aspects of the business
  • Actively leading and managing litigation matters including debt recovery litigation in Scotland and England and contractual disputes with suppliers
  • Active involvement in alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration
  • Liaising with and managing external legal service providers
  • Addressing regulatory matters
  • Reporting and working directly with the General Counsel on all legal matters
  • Advising management on all legal and risk matters
  • Working continuously to business KPIs and agreed targets.
