This leading UK firm is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its prestigious Corporate team. Whilst the position will report into Edinburgh partners, the firm is open to location of candidate. This team’s work involves high quality corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, investments and complex private equity deals.

The ideal candidate will be 3-4 years’ PQE with experience in this area of the law. Interested candidates should have excellent drafting skills, business development experience and the ability to manage own workload.

The role will involve:

M&A transactions and private equity transactions
Other corporate transactions including joint ventures, investments, reorganisations, shareholder/investment agreements
Corporate governance issues
Advising clients on commercial contracts on occasion
