This well-known and established law firm currently seeks a Solicitor specialising in commercial property to join its practice in central Edinburgh. The firm provides professional legal advice to a diverse range of clients including retailers, developers, hotel and leisure operators, universities, and educational providers.

Key tasks will involve:

  • Handling leasing work acting for both landlords and tenants, day to day management of office premises, agreements for leases for new build premises and assignations and sub-letting.
  • Involvement in land acquisition transactions for a variety of developers.
  • Property finance and secured lending for high value commercial and residential properties.
  • Advising in connection with town centre re-development.
  • Handling transactions involving the buying, selling, and re-financing of commercial property assets.

The team is open to candidate from newly qualified to senior associate level, qualified in either England & Wales, or dual qualified (Scotland & England). You will have previous experience of commercial property law, property finance and risk management.
