Our client, an award-winning UK based Law Firm, is currently recruiting for a Senior Associate/Managing Associate to join its Employment Team in Glasgow. This market-leading team is growing and is responsible for advising resident employment advice in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will have a senior role in a highly regarded team and will be involved in all aspects of employment law. Key tasks will include:

  • Handling complex Employment Tribunal cases, primarily representing Respondents.
  • Guiding employers through workplace challenges: disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring, and redundancies.
  • Enforcing post-termination restrictive covenants.
  • Drafting employment contracts, consultancy agreements, handbooks, settlement agreements, and related documentation.
  • Utilising your expertise in advising major corporations, including working with senior HR, general counsel, and in-house employment counsel, to advance in a senior capacity.

The team is keen to receive applications from candidates with at least 7 years’ PQE, preferably with dual qualifications in both Scotland and England. The team will also consider applications from candidates out-with this PQE level. Interested candidates should have prior experience in supervision or management roles and should demonstrate strong communication skills, along with the confidence to interact effectively with clients and colleagues across different levels.
