Personal Injury Lawyer – Glasgow/Hybrid (Assignment 15169)

New litigation role with our client, an award-winning Scottish law firm in Glasgow. The firm is currently recruiting a Personal Injury Lawyer to join its busy team in the centre of Glasgow. You will be involved in all aspects of personal injury work and can also expect involvement in public inquiry cases.

The team is keen to hear from candidates at the 2-5 years PQE level who come from a background in litigation; prior experience of personal injury work is essential to this role. Experience of working within a public inquiry would also be advantageous however not essential. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team in a thriving area of Glasgow.

1 year FTC, Property Lawyer – Wick / Edinburgh / Remote (Assignment 14724)

This dynamic law firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Property Team. The role is based in Wick, with the expectation to attend the office at least one day a week. Depending on experience, there would be an opportunity to work at the firm’s Edinburgh office or work remotely.

You will mainly be involved in residential property work, with some commercial. The firm are open to level of candidates and experience, candidates with a broader chamber practice experience would be considered.  You should have a strong interest and be committed to working in residential conveyancing.

Litigation/Contentious Construction – Aberdeen (Assignment 15209)

Our client, a successful, full-service Scottish Law firm, is currently recruiting a qualified solicitor to join its leading Construction and Engineering team in Aberdeen. The team provides a full dispute resolution service to clients across the construction industry and occasionally, will provide disputes advice outside of Scotland.

The role will involve advising on a range of litigation matters such as construction disputes, contentious claims, and insurance disputes. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with clients in both private and public sectors such as contractors, insurers, funders and developers.

To be considered for this position, you should have at least 1 year plus PQE with prior litigation experience; good knowledge and understanding of contentious disputes would be beneficial. This is a varied and interesting role based in the heart of Aberdeen with great prospects for career development.

Associate, Corporate M&A – Jersey (Assignment 15163)

This successful offshore law firm is currently recruiting for an experienced solicitor to join its reputable corporate team in Jersey.  You will be part of one of the largest corporate teams in the Channel Islands and will advise on all aspects of M&A and transactional matters.

The ideal candidate for this position will have between 2-6 years PQE with previous experience of working in a corporate environment. You should also have prior knowledge of M&A and an excellent academic background.

This is an opportunity to make a move to the Channel Islands if this were something of interest.

Licensing Lawyer – Glasgow (Assignment 12554)

A fantastic opportunity to join a specialist licensing team. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a licensing solicitor for their Glasgow office, with hybrid working options available.

Ideally, candidates with a minimum of 2years PQE will be considered. Extensive experience in licensing law and strong advocacy skills is essential. You will be able to work autonomously with the firm’s licencing and gambling clients and have experience in alcohol, civil and betting gaming licencing. You will be responsible for providing training and ongoing support to their paralegal team.

Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer – Edinburgh (Assignment 15116)

We are delighted to be working on this in-house legal role with a renewable energy organisation based in Edinburgh.  The organisation is seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join its busy team who focuses on offshore windfarms.

The ideal candidate will be in the NQ-5 years’ PQE bracket and have an enthusiasm and desire to work in a busy in-house commercial role.  Your key duties will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial documentation.
  • Analysing complex and legal commercial issues.
  • Managing and negotiating contractor claims.
  • Instructing and managing external counsel.
  • Advising on regulatory matters.
  • Assisting with general legal enquiries from the business.

Candidates should have previous commercial contracts experience; it would be beneficial if you have experience in the energy or infrastructure sector.
