Our client is seeking a talented Associate to join its expanding non‑contentious construction team in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with hybrid working available. The successful candidate will support a wide range of UK and international projects across sectors including real estate development, energy, transport, and infrastructure. This role offers exposure to major projects, high‑profile clients, and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative and supportive team.

Working closely with senior lawyers, the Associate will gain hands‑on experience managing matters, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead on a broad range of non‑contentious construction transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Contribute to sector and market insight within the team.
  • Support business development initiatives and wider practice growth.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years’ PQE, with experience or interest in construction, real estate, energy, or infrastructure work. Familiarity with standard‑form construction contracts, consultant appointments, and collateral warranties is advantageous. A Scottish or English qualification is preferred, though not essential.
