This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting a Solicitor to join its Construction & Engineering team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a respected non-contentious construction practice, advising on a range of high-quality construction and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating construction and engineering contracts, including SBCC, JCT and NEC documentation
• Advising developers, contractors, investors and professional consultants on project-related matters
• Preparing professional appointments, collateral warranties and associated construction documents
• Supporting projects from inception through to completion, providing commercially focused advice
• Working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver practical and effective legal solutions

Applicants should be qualified solicitors from newly qualified level up to 2 years’ PQE, ideally with a construction seat during traineeship or experience in non-contentious construction law. Candidates should have strong drafting and communication skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in construction and engineering work.
