Commercial Property (Renewables) – Edinburgh (Assignment 16161)

This UK Law Firm is one of the largest in Scotland and is currently seeking an additional Lawyer to join its Commercial Property Team in Edinburgh, focusing mainly on renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner and will be responsible for handling a range of renewable energy matters and commercial development on rural land. This will include working on a regular basis on renewables deals with colleagues in practice areas across the firm including Projects, Planning, Banking and Corporate, working as one energy team in the delivery of these deals.

To be considered for this position, you will be a newly qualified Lawyer who has completed a seat in real estate during their traineeship. While this is desirable, it is not essential as long as interested applicants can demonstrate a keen interest in the renewables industry and its drivers. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Lawyer to develop their skills and knowledge in this area within a fast-paced and supportive team.

Real Estate/Renewables – Glasgow/Edinburgh (Assignment 15117)

This successful Scottish law firm is currently recruiting an experienced Solicitor to join its Renewables team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a unique role which will give the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience within the clean energy sector. You will be involved in a broad range of renewable energy work including offshore and onshore projects, advising on M&A, understanding, and advising on complex titles, and assisting with the financing and trading of projects.

To be considered for this position, you should be at the 2-3 years PQE level with previous experience in a property related role. The team is keen to hear from candidates with a genuine interest for the renewables industry and previous exposure to renewable energy transactions gained in a previous role is preferred.

Real Estate – Edinburgh (Assignment 16169)

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join its Real Estate Team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ PQE with previous experience working within the property sector.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of real estate matters and will act for a range of clients including real estate owners, housebuilders, banks and financial institutions, leisure operators, retailers, and industrial distribution companies. The position is a key role within the Edinburgh office and is a great opportunity to join a well-established and friendly firm.

Real Estate Legal Director/Partner – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 11535)

Our client is seeking a Real Estate partner to join its firm in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be at least 7 years’ PQE with experience in this area of the law. This role would suit someone interested in the opportunity to lead or develop a team.

The Property and Real Estate team advise private and public sectors on a whole spectrum of property issues, and support clients transacting through business overseas, providing worldwide coverage, whilst offering the benefits of local expertise. This firm offers a positive working environment, and the role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Partner, Commercial Property – Edinburgh (Assignment 15554)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this new Partner-level role with our client, a successful Scottish based law firm. The firm is currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join its highly regard Commercial Property team in Edinburgh at partnership level.

The team handle a wide variety of interesting commercial property matters including property finance, property investment, sales and purchases, leasing and property disputes; there may also be scope to be involved in the English property market.

This is a great opportunity to join a successful and friendly firm and would be suited to senior lawyers with at least 10 years PQE and who come from a strong commercial property background. There will also be opportunity to bring a following, however this is not essential. Commercial Property Associate/Senior Associate – Glasgow (Assignment 16275)

We are currently working with this well-regarded Glasgow law firm on this commercial property role.  The team specialises in all aspects of property law in Scotland, dealing with acquisitions and disposals of all sizes, from the smallest industrial unit to large-scale developments.

This is a broad role that involves all aspects of general commercial property work, including:

  • Purchase and sale of land/buildings
  • Retail/general leasing
  • Property finance
  • The Scottish element of cross border transactions
  • Property due diligence

To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and significant experience in handling sensitive and complex cases. There is also scope for progression to Legal Director level. Although this is a full-time role, candidates wishing to work 4 days a week would be considered. This role offers great prospects!
