Our client, a leading international law firm is looking to hire a mid-level banking lawyer to join its London-based team. The firm has built a reputation for combining deep legal expertise with commercial insight and continues to be a trusted adviser to major corporates, financial institutions, and government bodies.
This opportunity sits within the market-recognised loans and banking practice, known for its innovative, client-focused work. The role focuses on leveraged acquisition finance, though the broader team covers a range of finance matters, from real estate and infrastructure to refinancing and strategic debt transactions.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in drafting and negotiating key finance documents, including term sheets, facility agreements, and intercreditor and security documents. You will manage matters from inception through to closing and post-closing, working closely with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders across a range of high-profile transactions.
You should bring strong experience in debt finance—particularly leveraged finance—ideally with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience gained in a leading private practice environment. A client-focused mindset, enthusiasm for business development, and the ability to work effectively across jurisdictions are essential.
