This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Strategic Risk, Government & Compliance team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile regulatory and investigations work across both commercial and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on regulatory, compliance and corporate crime matters, including financial crime, environmental and health & safety issues
• Leading and managing investigations, public inquiries, judicial reviews and statutory appeals
• Drafting complex legal advice, pleadings and strategic submissions
• Representing clients in courts, tribunals and dealing with regulators and authorities
• Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
• Supervising junior lawyers and supporting the growth of the wider team

Applicants should have 5+ years’ PQE with strong experience in dispute resolution, regulatory work, or investigations. A genuine interest in areas such as corporate crime, compliance, public law or risk advisory is essential. Candidates should be confident managing complex matters, commercially aware, and comfortable taking on a visible role within a growing practice.
