Our client, an international financial services organisation is seeking a Commercial and Technology Lawyer (VP) to join its Global Commercial, Innovation and Technology (CIT) Legal team. The role focuses on providing legal advice across commercial, technology and innovation-related matters, supporting business teams on complex agreements while managing legal and regulatory risk within a highly regulated environment.

Working closely with procurement, technology and business teams, the successful candidate will advise on commercial arrangements and help embed effective legal risk management practices across the organisation, while contributing to the broader objectives of the legal function.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on commercial and technology agreements, including software licensing, SaaS, cloud services and data licensing arrangements.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for technology, commercial services and partnerships.
  • Identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Supporting innovation and technology initiatives through legal and regulatory guidance.
  • Delivering legal training and monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments.

This is a full time position, however the team will consider applicants seeking part-time hours.
