A leading national law firm is looking for an Employment Associate to join its Glasgow office. This flexible role is well suited to a qualified Solicitor with around 1–3 years’ PQE who is keen to develop within a high-performing team.

As part of a collaborative UK-wide employment practice, you will work on a diverse range of contentious and advisory matters, supporting major clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting employers with workplace issues including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures and redundancies.
  • Advising on Employment Tribunal cases, predominantly for respondent clients.
  • Providing employment law input on TUPE, corporate transactions and outsourcing matters.
  • Drafting employment contracts, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and related documents.
  • Collaborating with senior colleagues and contributing to work across a national employment team.

The role requires strong analytical and organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive, team-focused approach. You will be encouraged to stay current with employment law developments and participate in business development activity where appropriate.
