A leading international law firm is seeking an NQ+ Associate to join its established Property Damage team in Edinburgh. This role offers the chance to work within a top‑tier insurance practice, handling complex, high‑value matters for a diverse global client base.

Key responsibilities
You will be involved in a wide range of property damage and insurance‑related work, including:

  • Managing coverage and liability disputes linked to major loss events
  • Handling subrogated recovery actions
  • Advising on commercial and residential property damage claims
  • Working closely with experts, counsel, insurers, and policyholders
  • Taking early responsibility for significant files with exposure to high‑value claims
  • Collaborating directly with senior lawyers and partners on complex matters.

You will bring experience in insurance litigation and/or property damage matters, along with strong technical ability and solid commercial awareness. You should be an effective communicator who works well within a team and demonstrates a collaborative approach. High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential to succeed in this role.
