An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a leading global law firm, which is seeking an experienced lawyer with expertise in insurance and regulatory matters to join its growing team in Edinburgh. This position offers the chance to work alongside a highly regarded practice and collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines within the firm.

While applications from lawyers at all levels will be considered, the firm is particularly interested in candidates with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience. The role encompasses a blend of transactional and advisory work, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on regulatory issues, and supporting strategic projects within the insurance sector. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of matters, from product development and compliance to cross-border regulatory advice and insurance-related mergers and acquisitions. Adaptability and a willingness to work across both general and life insurance products are essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence combined with commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client development. Strong communication and organisational skills, along with a collaborative mindset, are key attributes for success in this role.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a prestigious international law firm renowned for delivering high-quality advice on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. The firm operates globally and is committed to innovation and sector expertise.
