This leading Scottish law firm is currently recruiting an experienced Family Lawyer to join its respected team in Glasgow. The role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of one of Scotland’s top-ranked family law practices, advising on a wide range of private family matters with a solution-focused and client-centred approach.

The position involves handling a broad range of family law issues, including financial provision on separation or divorce, residence and contact disputes, and child relocation matters. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, provide clear and practical legal advice, and support clients from initial instruction through to conclusion. Additional responsibilities include drafting settlement agreements, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in family law and be confident managing complex and sensitive matters independently. Strong advocacy skills and experience appearing in the Sheriff Court are advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position offering opportunities for involvement in business development, thought leadership, and wider team strategy.
