Contentious Construction Solicitor – Edinburgh                            

Our client is currently recruiting an experience Solicitor to join its Construction and Engineering Team in Edinburgh.  The team advises on a range of high-profile and complex construction matters including contentious claims and insurance disputes across a range of formal dispute proceedings including mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration.

To be considered for this position you should have at least 2 years’ PQE and previous construction and litigation experience.  You should also have experience of representing clients in the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court. (Assignment 14333)

Corporate Associate – Glasgow                        

This international law firm is recruiting an Associate to join its highly regarded Glasgow Corporate Group.  This is a full-time position, and the team is seeking candidates with a strong corporate background and ideally with experience in M&A, corporate finance and private equity (desirable but not essential). You will have a varied role which will involve advising on mergers, acquisitions, flotations, disposals, buy ins and buy outs and joint ventures and investments.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years PQE and above and should have gained previous experience in a city firm or a large regional practice. They will also have a strong academic background, have a client focussed approach to their work and be commercially aware. (Assignment 14389)

Dispute Resolution Solicitor – Glasgow      

This firm is currently recruiting an experience Solicitor to join its busy Dispute Resolution Team in Glasgow.  You will be responsible for you managing a varied commercial disputes caseload and some of your duties will include:

  • Advising on contentious issues, including conducting hearings in the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session.
  • Providing advocacy in tribunals, arbitration, and mediation
  • Taking statements, attending consultations, drafting pleadings, instructing expert witnesses, preparing cases for proofs/debates
  • Business development

To be considered for this position you should have between 3 – 5 years’ PQE and previous dispute resolution and commercial litigation experience. (Assignment 14415)

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Glasgow    

This leading firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Residential Conveyancing Team in Glasgow.  The team advise a range of clients including private, individual, commercial, and public sector.  This position has become available due to expansion and you will be responsible for all aspects of residential conveyancing including purchase, sale, re-mortgage, repossession work, matrimonial conveyancing, discharges and transfers of title.

To be considered for this position you should have between 2 – 5 years’ PQE with strong residential experience. (Assignment 14335)

Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Glasgow   

Due to continued growth, this dynamic and forward-thinking law firm is recruiting a Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its busy practice in Glasgow. You will deal with all aspects of personal injury work including delayed diagnosis, hospital negligence, surgical negligence, GP claims, birth injury cases and fatal accidents.

To be considered for this role, you should be at the 3+ PQE level and should have a pro-active and positive approach, as well as a caring and compassionate nature suited to dealing with emotional and sensitive matters. Previous experience in handling litigated personal injury cases is essential. (Assignment 14308)

Senior In-house Employment Solicitor – Dundee             

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Solicitor to join this highly regarded in-house legal team in Dundee. You will work closely with the Director of Legal and provide legal advice on a variety of matters as needed. The role will involve advising on all aspects of employment law including disputes, commercial transactions, complex grievances, contractual agreements and internal policies and procedures.

This is a full-time position based in Dundee, however the organisations hybrid working model allows for flexibility and work/life balance. The ideal candidate should be at least 4 years PQE and above and have previous experience of employment law. You should be able to communicate effectively on complex topics to a wide range of clients, you should also show a thorough approach to work whilst being detail conscious and showing commercial awareness. Previous in-house experience is desirable but not essential. (Assignment 14090)
