This leading UK law firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join its specialist employment team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established national practice, advising a broad range of employer clients on both advisory and contentious employment matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters for employer clients
  • Providing day-to-day HR and employment law advice across a range of sectors
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate
  • Drafting employment documentation, tribunal responses, witness statements, and legal updates
  • Supporting business development activities, including training, networking, and client engagement
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service and meet client objectives

Applicants should be qualified solicitors from newly qualified level through to 6 years’ PQE, with a genuine interest in employment law. Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team. Experience of Employment Tribunal litigation and employment advisory work would be advantageous.
