This leading Scottish law firm is recruiting a Legal Director or Partner to join its highly regarded Employment team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to take on a senior role within a growing practice, advising a diverse client base on a broad range of complex employment and HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace disputes and strategic HR issues
  • Supporting employers with Employment Tribunal claims, investigations, restructurings and sensitive workplace matters
  • Building and developing strong client relationships while contributing to the growth of the Employment practice
  • Leading, mentoring and developing junior team members, while supporting wider business development and profile-raising initiatives

Applicants should have at least 7 years’ PQE in employment law, with strong technical expertise and experience advising employer clients. Candidates should be commercially minded, confident managing complex matters, and possess excellent relationship-building and business development skills. Those with an existing network or following would be particularly attractive.
