This leading Scottish law firm is recruiting a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join its Strategic Risk, Government & Compliance team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile matters across regulatory, investigations and risk‑related disputes for both commercial and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on regulatory, compliance and corporate crime matters, including financial crime, environmental and health & safety issues
  • Supporting investigations, inquiries and enforcement proceedings, including judicial reviews and statutory appeals
  • Drafting legal advice, pleadings and detailed submissions
  • Representing clients in courts, tribunals and regulatory forums where appropriate
  • Liaising with regulators, authorities and stakeholders on complex legal issues
  • Contributing to client relationships and supporting business development initiatives

Applicants should have 1–4 years’ PQE with experience in dispute resolution or regulatory work. A strong interest in areas such as compliance, investigations, corporate crime or public law is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
