A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced legal professional (4+ years PQE) to join its specialist team focused on dispute resolution, regulatory risk, and public sector compliance. This permanent role is based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow and offers the opportunity to work on high-profile and complex matters across a broad spectrum of public law and litigation.

The successful candidate will support a diverse range of public sector clients, providing strategic legal advice, handling investigations, and representing clients in courts and tribunals. The role involves developing strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice through both legal work and business development initiatives.

Applicants should have a genuine interest in public law, housing, and local government, with a preference for those keen to develop advocacy skills. While prior experience in the team’s practice areas is beneficial, enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence are key.
