Deputy Head of Legal – Edinburgh (Assignment 15496)
We are delighted to have been instructed on this new senior role with our client, a national law firm specialising in personal injury claims. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head of Legal to join the firm’s busy team in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate can expect to work closely with the Partner, leading a team of solicitors and paralegals. You will handle an interesting and varied caseload involving employment, road traffic accidents and public liability matters.
The team is keen to speak to candidates with at least 4+ years PQE with extensive knowledge of court litigation as well as experience of conducting cases in the Court of Session and Sheriff Court. A good understanding of credit hire would be beneficial however not essential.
This is a full-time position which offers a competitive salary as well as a generous benefits package.
Personal Injury – Glasgow (Assignment 15586)
Our client, a specialist litigation firm is seeking an Associate to join its expanding Personal Injury team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years’ PQE and have experience handling RTA, public liability, and employment claims. Previous experience of disease and clinical negligence work would be beneficial however not essential.
This is a busy firm and they have seen a real growth in this area of work and there are longer-term opportunities for progression for an ambitious lawyer keen to specialise in this area.

Personal Injury – Glasgow (Assignment 15587)
Our client, a specialist litigation firm is seeking a litigator to join its expanding personal injury team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-4 years PQE level and have some experience handling RTA, public liability and employment matters. Previous experience of disease and clinical negligence work would be beneficial however not essential.
This is a busy firm and they have seen a real growth in this area of work and there are longer-term opportunities for progression for an ambitious lawyer keen to specialise in this area.
Personal Injury – Glasgow (Assignment 15532)
Our leading client is recruiting a solicitor to join its growing Personal Injury team in Glasgow. The team provide advice across all aspects of personal injury law including litigated and pre-litigated matters.
The successful candidate will have up to 1 year’s post qualifying experience in personal injury work having completed a Traineeship in that area. Training and supervision will be provided if necessary.
Casualty Lawyer – Glasgow / Hybrid (Assignment 15576)
Exciting opportunity to join this busy Casualty Team in Glasgow. You can expect to handle an interesting and varied caseload of litigated casualty cases (Defender) and assist Associates and Partners in the day to day running of the team.
To be considered for this position, you should be at the NQ-2 years’ PQE level with litigation and personal injury experience (preferably Defender). Ideally, candidates will have experience of all Scotland Personal Injury Court cases and appearing in the Sheriff Court as this will be part of the role. More general litigation experience would be considered if a genuine interest in this area.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to prioritise and work under pressure as well as the ability to work as part of a team and independently. It is desirable to have previous experience of EL and PL claims, however this is not essential as full training will be provided. The role is based in the firm’s Glasgow office however hybrid working is offered.
Catastrophic and Large Loss – Glasgow / Edinburgh (Assignment 15464)
This global law firm is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role will involve acting for both insurance and commercial clients. You will handle a varied caseload including large loss and complex injury cases as well as regular appearances in the Sheriff Court.
The ideal candidate will be at NQ-5 years’ PQE level with experience of Personal Injury litigation. Previous experience in dealing with Catastrophic Personal Injury and Large Loss cases will be an advantage, however, this is not essential. You will be able to adapt well within a demanding, fast paced environment while focussing on delivering a highly professional service to clients.
