Rural Property Solicitor

Practice Area: Rural Property, AGRICULTURAL / RURAL
Level: Full-time, Assistant
Section: Law Firm
Location: Inverness, Elgin
Ref: 6010

Our client, a leading Scottish law firm, is seeking a Solicitor to join its Rural Property team in Inverness. The role offers exposure to a broad range of rural property matters, including crofting, agriculture, forestry, land and estates, as well as emerging areas such as natural capital and land reform. Although the role is based in Inverness, the firm will also consider candidates to work from their Elgin office.

Working alongside experienced specialists, you will advise a varied client base across transactional and advisory work. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on rural property transactions and related legal matters.
  • Supporting clients on crofting, agricultural, forestry and estate issues.
  • Assisting with natural capital, net-zero and community land projects.
  • Working closely with specialist colleagues across multiple practice areas.
  • Developing client relationships and contribute to the growth of the team.

Previous rural property experience is beneficial but not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop within the sector. The firm offers a supportive and collaborative environment, high-quality work, strong career development opportunities and a competitive salary and benefits package.

If this position could be of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact either Steph or Teddie for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 18683)
