We are pleased to be working with a leading UK law firm that is seeking a talented Associate to join its highly regarded Construction & Engineering team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top‑ranked contentious construction practice handling high‑value, complex disputes for major clients across the UK and internationally.

The role will involve working on a broad range of construction and engineering disputes, including:

• Adjudication, mediation and Expert Determination.
• International and domestic arbitration.
• Pre‑Action Protocol matters within construction and engineering disputes.
• Litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and Scottish courts.
• Providing strategic advice throughout the project lifecycle on contractual and risk issues.

The firm is seeking a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and solid experience handling complex construction disputes. Candidates should have strong technical skills, excellent communication and client‑handling abilities, and confidence managing a varied contentious caseload. Experience supervising junior colleagues and contributing to business development would also be beneficial.
