Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate to join its growing Insurance and Reinsurance team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of high-profile matters, including professional indemnity disputes, financial lines, warranty and indemnity, cyber risks, and complex policy coverage issues. The team also advises on national and international construction all-risk disputes and insurance-related advisory work.

You will work with a strong client base that includes leading insurers and major brokers, while being encouraged to develop your own network within the market.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience and be qualified in Scots law or dual-qualified, although those qualified in England and Wales will also be considered. If not already dual-qualified, a willingness to pursue this would be advantageous. Strong drafting skills, sound judgment, and the ability to provide practical, client-focused advice are essential. Experience in professional indemnity and financial lines is preferred, but applicants with significant coverage experience in other areas will also be considered.

The firm offers a competitive salary, a flexible hybrid working policy, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your lifestyle. The team is known for its friendly and commercial approach, providing a supportive environment for professional growth.
