This well-regarded Scottish firm is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join its Private Client team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The team advises a diverse client base on all aspects of trust and executry administration, Wills, Powers of Attorney, tax and succession planning, and the financial affairs of elderly clients.

You will handle a varied caseload with a particular focus on executries, while also supporting on related private client matters including tax planning and trust administration. This is a client-facing role, and you will work closely with colleagues across the team to deliver a high standard of service. Responsibilities include drafting, matter administration, handling tax implications, participating in departmental meetings, and generating fee income in line with targets.

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE and demonstrate strong technical knowledge across private client work. You should have confident communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive approach to client service. The role is permanent and full-time, though flexible or part-time working will be considered.
