Our client, a well-regarded Scottish law firm, is seeking two lawyers to join its Rural Business Team within the Real Estate practice. These are full-time, permanent roles based in Aberdeen, offering an excellent opportunity to join a leading team with high-quality clients and strong long-term career prospects.

The positions are available at Senior Solicitor or Associate level, with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE. The team advises on a wide range of rural property matters, including the acquisition and disposal of estates, farms, forestry, and other rural land. There is a particular focus on renewable energy developments and agricultural holdings, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with an interest in this growing area of practice.

The role involves advising on rural land transactions, agricultural holdings and tenancies (both contentious and non-contentious), lease arrangements, title matters (including Sasine and Land Register titles), and the ongoing management of estate and rural business clients. The team also advises on rural and residential development projects, providing a varied and interesting workload.

Applicants should have a genuine interest in the rural sector, along with strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage transactions effectively. More senior candidates should demonstrate experience working autonomously and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, tailored client service.

If this position is of interest, please do not hesitate to contact either Teddie or Cameron for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17227)
