Men’s Health Awareness Month – November 2024

Nov 2024

November is Men’s Health Awareness Month! 🩺

This month let’s focus on prioritising both physical and mental health both in the workplace and at home. Men’s health often goes undiscussed, but it’s essential to acknowledge that taking care of our well-being is a strength, not a weakness.

Here are a few key reminders:

  • Schedule regular check-ups – Prevention is powerful!
  • Stay active – Physical activity boosts both body and mind.
  • Open up – Talking about mental health is vital for reducing stigma and finding support.
  • Balance stress – Healthy habits go a long way in managing life’s challenges.

FWA is engaging with the See Me Programme, a Scottish initiative aimed at ending mental health stigma and discrimination. With a vision of eliminating stigma, See Me seeks to foster a culture of understanding and acceptance for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Let’s encourage each other to live healthier, stronger lives. 💪 #MensHealth #Awareness #Wellness #StrongerTogether #MentalHealthMatters
