Level: Associate, Full Time
Section: Law Firm
Location: Scotland, Central Belt, Glasgow

A top UK law firm is seeking a senior commercial or regulatory lawyer to join its growing Energy and Infrastructure team in Glasgow. The role sits within a market-leading Clean Energy practice, supporting major onshore and offshore renewables developers and playing a key role in the UK’s transition to net zero.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues advising on regulatory frameworks and commercial contracts that underpin the transition to net zero. The work is dynamic and varied, including high-value negotiations and complex, often first-of-their-kind agreements. This includes grid connection arrangements, Contracts for Difference, PPAs, development and joint venture agreements, and regulatory matters related to electricity licensing and system reform.

This is an ideal role for someone with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, strong drafting and communication skills, and who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing work. A background in energy, infrastructure, or utilities regulation is preferred.

You will join a collaborative, supportive team offering excellent benefits, career progression, and opportunities to work across UK jurisdictions.
