This leading UK law firm is recruiting an experienced Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Construction & Engineering team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top‑ranked contentious construction practice acting on high‑value, complex disputes across major national and international projects.

The role will involve working on a broad range of construction and engineering disputes, including:

  • Handling adjudications, mediations, Expert Determinations and conciliations
  • Acting in international and domestic arbitrations
  • Managing Pre‑Action Protocol matters within the construction and engineering sphere
  • Conducting litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and Scottish courts
  • Providing strategic contractual advice throughout the project lifecycle

The firm is seeking a solicitor with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE, with proven experience handling complex, high‑value contentious construction matters. Candidates should have strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, and confidence managing a demanding and varied caseload. Experience leading others, supervising junior colleagues, and contributing to business development will be important.
