This leading international law firm is recruiting an Associate to join its highly regarded Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) team in either Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to advise an impressive client base ranging from global organisations and financial institutions to innovative technology businesses, working on complex commercial, technology and intellectual property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including outsourcing, SaaS, software, services, licensing, supply and distribution contracts
• Advising clients on commercial, technology, intellectual property and data protection matters across a variety of sectors
• Supporting major technology projects and transactions, including digital transformation, IT procurement and technology outsourcing arrangements
• Building strong client relationships, assisting with business development initiatives, and contributing to marketing and industry events

Applicants should have 2–6 years’ PQE, ideally gained within a commercial, technology, IP or TMT practice. Candidates should possess strong drafting and analytical skills, experience advising clients directly, and the ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice. Experience of IT contracts, technology transactions, data protection or intellectual property matters would be advantageous.
