Our client, a leading Scottish Law Firm is seeking a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor to join its Restructuring & Insolvency Team, based in Glasgow; however, Edinburgh may also be considered.

The role focuses primarily on non-contentious restructuring matters, advising lenders, corporates, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supporting non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, including corporate restructurings, refinancings, debt restructurings, business and asset sales, and formal insolvency processes
  • Advising lenders, borrowers, directors and insolvency practitioners on risk, strategy and structuring options
  • Drafting and negotiating complex transactional documentation
  • Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across relevant practice areas
  • Ensuring compliance with internal information security policies and safeguarding confidential information

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ PQE and experience in corporate law, banking, or commercial contracts. Candidates without banking experience should demonstrate a genuine interest in this area.
