A respected Scottish law firm with a strong reputation in commercial real estate is seeking an ambitious Senior Solicitor to join its expanding Commercial Real Estate team in Glasgow. The firm is recognised for its depth of expertise across commercial property projects and its work with a wide range of clients, including investors, developers, funders, retailers, and corporates.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior specialists on a diverse range of high‑value and complex matters. The successful candidate will contribute to a thriving practice known for delivering commercially focused advice and for supporting clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing land acquisition and disposal transactions for developers, pension funds, trading businesses and other commercial clients.
  • Handling leasing matters for both landlords and tenants across retail, industrial and office sectors, including agreements for lease, new‑build premises, assignations and sub‑letting.
  • Assisting with commercial investment purchases and sales.
  • Advising public sector clients on estate strategy, asset management, acquisitions and disposals.
  • Providing property support on corporate acquisitions and disposals.
  • Working on property finance and secured lending matters for commercial clients and banking institutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ post‑qualification experience in commercial real estate, offering strong technical ability, sound commercial judgement, and excellent communication skills. They should be confident managing client relationships, proactive in workload management, and keen to contribute to business development within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
